Find ways to communicate with your horse that are both fun and effective. Beginner to experienced horse and human pairs are welcome.  Participants will get both and morning and afternoon session (30 minutes each session).

Format:

• Morning discussion and demo. How horses learn.  Learning theory and how it applies to horses. The three most important concepts every horse needs to know before using treats in training.
• Morning Individual training sessions.  All clinic participants will get 30 minutes in the morning to introduce concepts to their horse..
• Lunch - please bring lunch.
• Afternoon individual training sessions, 30 minutes for each participant to review and progress on morning skills.
• Wrap up discussion. 

About the Instructor:  

Priscilla Tooley is a positive reinforcement trainer and coach as well as a lifelong equestrian.  Her approach to training using behavioral science and a dose a realism provides an eye-opening and fun experience for equine professionals and amateurs alike.  

Priscilla's training methods are autonomy based, rather than obedience based with the aim to build the horse up mentally, emotionally, and physically.  

Priscilla is the owner/trainer at Highland Bluff Equine in Abingdon, VA.

Horse:  

Horses must be able to lead, load, and tie.  All horses must be up to date on vaccines and have current negative coggins.
